Labyrinth is getting an Anniversary Edition release. This annoys me to no end, because although I pounced on the first DVD release years ago (which I still don't regret), I know I'm going to end up getting this new release because I'm the exact predictable fangirl consumer h0r they're targeting. I know... I kinda understand why they're releasing this now, fans weren't too happy with the previous releases, and they found a whole bunch of new footage recently, I think. STILL.

Remember that Neil Gaiman interview when he and some other dude whose name I forgot now went up to the Henson studios and found hours of discarded Labyrinth footage that inspired him to make MirrorMask? I think that sparked this new release.
