I had years of working with a moustache only--and not the big bushy horseshoe one I sport proudly today--no beards, muttonchops or anything other than militarial short was acceptable.

Did you get to keep your woofy moustache, though? I'd hope so. Shame to waste it.

yeah I did... Technically my moustache is against dress code also. My old assistant manager made me shave it back one day. It can only be a half inch below the lip line. But i've been getting away with it now for the last couple years down to the chin

oh sure rub it in LOL Mine was about a week of Mountain Stubble. But I was just starting to get that beard formation happening

I totally agree with you. And for some reason we're about the only grocery chain that doesn't allow beards or goatee's. I swear we must be owned by the Mormon's. That's usually where I run into this policy
