I didn't have any problems other than Anti-virus scanning so I turned it off and it uploaded in less than 5 minutes.

Did you get this fixed yet?

I have the install file for 5.0 on my system. I can send it to you via AIM if you like.

nope... I still don't have it fixed. I tried a system restore. But that didn't seem to help any. I though a restore would also re-install my iTunes back to where it was before I attempted. But so far no luck

I can't file transfer on AIM because of the router issue on my computer

I upgraded no sweat. However, you should probably run the standalone installer. If you're on a Mac, which if I recall... you are, then I'd suggest using Disk Utility to repair your permissions first, then run the standalone installer (as opposed to Software Update). You can of course get that from

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

If you continue to have issues, I will make other suggestions. I'm sure that'll work though. If you want to contact me directly, you can get to me on AIM with my full e-mail address as my screen name. Same as my LJ name, then @mac.com
