So yesterday I get off of the Muni N in front of Doboce Park. And I noticed since I had been there last. They cut out a section of the lawn and are installing an escalator. But it's in such a strange part of the park. Does anybody who's local by any chance know where this escalator will lead to. I'm wondering if they're putting in some sort of

Maybe the city is using the 'public art' $$ set-aside for municipal projects to build a dungeon for the enjoyment of its Castro-area citizens. :)

Bart Station...belive it or not. I don't know what they are planning, but my last time by there I saw a Bart sign.

nah it can't be BART. BART curves and goes toward 16th and Mission after Civic Center. That's nowhere near. And there aren't any plans for BART trough there. It has to be to something else

I saw a BART Sign there...It may have been a mistake on someone's part..but it was there. :)

My friend Tony lives in the neighborhood, and told me that most parking around Duboce Park was blocked because of filming today. He also said that the fake BART entrance was for that movie - some Will Smith thing.

I wonder how well that shoot went with all the hospital workers on strike across the street with their bullhorns.

Actually I wonder how many tourists have tried to go down to that BART station so far. LOL
