That's the point, Miss Parkinson. If I said that anyone who forgot their change of clothing would be sitting out of class that day, there are a number of lazy students who would "accidentally" forget on a regular basis.

There's no point to making a threat if it isn't effective or if you're not actually able to follow through with it.
