Unfortunately, no. I'm afraid I haven't spoken to Minami since before New Year's Eve, Dan-kun. So I have no clue what is going on with him. And I haven't been able to get ahold of him either. I wish he would answer my calls, though. I've been trying to call him repeatedly since I found out about what happened to Sengoku. And I'm getting really worried about him now because he's not responding at all.

Oh, and a belated Happy Birthday to you, Dan-kun. I'm sorry it didn't turn out so great.

Ah... So he hasn't been in contact with you too, desu... I did receive a text from him, desu. He just said he was fine, that I shouldn't worry about him (maybe he read my post, desu) and just do my best in the tournaments. If... If he does contact you, would you mind telling me, Jackal-san? I don't think he's as fine as he says, desu...

(ooc: Jackal probably received a message like that from Minami, the night before they left for the tournament. He actually wanted to call up Jackal, because he's really needing a friend atm, but he didn't since he didn't want to burden Jackal with his problems especially in the middle of the tournament. ;__;)

He sent me a text also, pretty much telling me the exact same thing. It doesn't make me feel any less worried about him, though. Not to mention, I have a feeling it's a lie. It's not like him to behave this way, and if he was really fine he would be speaking to me.
But sure, if I manage to finally get him to answer his phone I'll let you know about it. And if he doesn't, I'll drop by his place to check on him in person. Might still do that even if he does answer my call. I get the feeling he needs a shoulder to lean on.

[OOC: Yeah, the text Minami sent kinda made Jackal worry more, because he didn't believe Minami. He sent back a text pretty much saying "If you're fine then why aren't you speaking to me?" He's kinda upset over it and really wants Minami to talk to him about it. And when Jackal is worried about something, it tends to reflect itself in his game, which may have been another reason for why him and Bunta didn't play as flawlessly in their match as they normally do
