Just as Otou-san promised, Okaa-san and I took Sayu to the beach for her birthday. Both Aoi-kun and Ryou-senpai boasted about the beaches in Chiba, and it's a good decision to go there, desu! :) We were there for only two days, but the memories will stay with me forever, desu. We played in the water, chased each other in the sand, lied under the ( Read more... )

...Good to hear that you and your family are starting to heal and that you were able to do something together to help with it...Beaches do indeed make for good therapy and help in calming one's mind...Take it from someone who grew up on one~~ I'd recommend going back regularly if you can...It'll help you even more...

The offer still stands if you wish to speak to me...I'm more than willing to help...

We like to think it's Otou-san who helped us, with that last promise to Sayu. :) And we plan to, desu. Maybe next time we'll visit the beaches of yours, Rin-senpai and Tanishi-senpai's hometown, desu. :D

...I do, desu. Thank you very much for offering to talk to me. We took the first step, desu, but... I'm still worried. I thought maybe if I hear the story of someone who went through the same thing as me, I can find answers, desu.

Hmm~~ Family sometimes has a way of helping us even after they leave the living world...You might find other things around you as well that do the same~~
...And let me know if and when you choose to pay a visit to Okinawa...I'll see about giving you a personal tour of my hometown~~

I went through hell when I lost my father, and I was only 10 years old at the time...Losing a parent has a strange way of making you grow up real quick...But sometimes in the wrong ways...If I can help you avoid some of the negativity that comes with this situation, then I'll do all I can for you...

I believe that, desu. It's like they're still looking out for us... I like the thought, desu. :)
Of course, desu! There's nothing like having a local show us around a place. We get to visit more interesting spots than what normal tourists could, desu. :)

...What sort of negativity are there, Chinen-san? I... could feel some bitterness whenever I hear my classmates talking about their dads, but I assumed it's just jealousy on my part.

And growing up... I'm afraid I had, desu. I... really, really didn't want to. Not yet.

(ooc: gaaah. x__x I'm sorry I missed this one. And it was shaping up to be an interesting conversation between these two... *fail*)
