I've been getting that a lot too, but I'll tell you something. I looked up one of those things no one would explain to me, and I wish I hadn't. It was... I wish I hadn't seen it. >.< But once you know, you can't un-know, yanno? Maybe it's the same way for them, and they don't want to freak you out and make you wish you could undo it.

If someone won't explain something to you, Taichi-kun, they probably shouldn't have been speaking about it in front of you to begin with. Instead of asking them to explain to you - which you know they won't - you could perhaps change the subject?
