interestingly enough, last month i tried to keep track of all my frivolous expenditures per day. it was so depressing that i stopped after two weeks. and of course nearly all my money goes to coffee and bubble tea.
there's certainly a social aspect to these things though - nearly every week i find myself in some sort of coffee shop with someone, and before i'm even aware of my surroundings i have a drink in my hand. what have i become?
I used to have this. Must have squash. Must have Coke. Must have cider. But somehow (and I don't know how) I've managed to be completely comfortable with water most of the time. Admittedly sometimes it's bottled (and I'm trying to remember to take water with me nowadays to avoid this) but it's an improvement.
It doesn't help that the water in the West Midlands in (technically illegally!) fluoridated. Which is a little irritating.
