Hahah...There are links between your ramblings but they're so strange I'm not sure how to comment, even though I feel the need to say something. I'm finding myself trying to remember a conversation you and I had on the same subject of prisoner remediation but I'm drawing a blank. So instead I'll just waste your time with these sentences as a show of my appreciation.

the conversation was about a candidate for travis county sheriff i voted for who wanted to give prisoners work in county parks--essentially a lot of the contracts e-corps gets now. also, he wanted prisoners in county jails to grow their own food in gardens on county land. it was the only time in my life ive voted republican for a partisan position.

incidentally, i really hate the term "break" when it comes to taming horses; it seems so cruel. i got a soft spot for those ecological disasters.

ive always wondered why they use that term, but then, ive never seen it done. interestingly--and i have no idea why i am writing this here, but--my grandfather who i never met was a cowboy in new mexico.
