Melou's sitting out on the front porch, cleaning and sharpening his sword. It doesn't really need it, but he's bored and doesn't have much else to do. He hasn't been actively searching for Anita, but he'll want to talk to her if she happens to be nearby. He had a rather interesting run-in with Cal a while ago, and there's something he's been

Anita's pretty reliable - she can be found stalking the grounds, wandering about, patrolling. She's been hunting a bit - not exactly big game, just a couple forest hens and rabbits, but it's enough to keep her occupied.

Even though the plothole is back, she's never really lost the habit of hunting.

And so she'll be skinning a rabbit, focusing on that finicky job, when Melou finds her.

After a while, Melou gets bored and goes wandering.

"Anita," he says, when he spots her, managing to make the one word sound arrogant. (Of course you are out here, because he was looking for you, and the entire world revolves around him.)

"S'my name," she drawls in response. "What's up?"

Anita can eat him for breakfast if she likes. Unphased.
