I dont' know these characters (have shamefully never managed to read the book further than the first few chapters) but this makes me want to.

Stunning, and tragic that it won't get the respec it deserves, if you'd called it Sirius and Remus you'd have a billion comments. such is life.

I don't mind. I enjoy feeding my other fandoms, and I enjoy my own work enough not to be bothered by a dearth of comments.

The unedited Les Mis is hard to get through. I admit I skimmed through the long exposition and historical background the first time, to get to what I knew or found interesting. You might try that.

You as the author attracted me. Also, Les Miserables is one of my favorite classical novels. Though, don't spread it around. ..After all, it wouldn't do to let the masses know I normally read outside of porn. :half-grin:
