After some bad experiences with more mainstream alt-typed social events -- oh, the irony of mainstream alternative parties! -- I'm wanting to have an explicitly queer- and trans-friendly get together.

This sounds pretty SERIOUSLY badass... I'm actually already planning on visiting friends in TX sometime this summer, some of them in Austin--I'll be in Minneapolis on the 17th, but could probably make it if you end up having it on the 31st. Keep us posted on dates?
