Well, don't belive the hype. The supposed energy put toward helping homeowners negotiate with predatory lenders is bullshit. And the renewed interest of mortgage companies in negotiating and beginning to treat homeowners fairly? Also bullshit ( Read more... )

I'm really sorry. I wish I had some sort of insider's knowledge on how to get treated fairly but I don't know the first thing about home ownership and even less about the current sub-prime mortgage mess. I don't know if there is a way to take legal action against CitiBank since you negotiated in good faith and they did not, but there may be lawyers out there who would counsel you pro bono. that's the first thing I'd look for.

fuckers. they won't be happy until most everybody in the world is impoverished except for those who already have more money than anyone needs. even then they won't be happy--we're driven by the misery of those who think they can never have enough.
