Just some updates since I haven't written anything in a long time.

Work goes well. Got some extra classes this month due to some people leaving town/changing jobs/etc..

Finally took a trip outside of Oita city the other day. Went to Fukuoka with a friend and did some shopping. Had some wonderful coffee and cake as well.

Still have a cold. Since

Hey! It's always awesome to see updates from you, because they're so few and far between :D How long have you been in Japan now for? (Sorry if you've talked about this before) but are you on a limited working visa, or do you have citizenship, or what? I'm so jealous of anyone having a more exciting life than me!

Hey! Sorry I don't blog as much as I used to. I've never been good at maintaining contact in real life either (=_=)

Citizenship is hard to get here! You have to give up your US passport, change your name into Chinese characters, and write down your family tree for as many generations as you know of; after living here for about ten years.

I can't say if it's all that exciting LOL; I work all the time. At least it's enjoyable work :)

Wow that is difficult to get citizenship! It's certainly not that hard (well, it's hardish but not like that!) in Australia... but I'm not sure what's better - a country that's hard to gain citizenship, or one that's easy. *ponders*

That's half the battle, enjoying your work. I don't know how people exist doing work they don't like... and then you get people like me - I love my work, and still won't do it ;)
