So I have decided to take a break from school. Once I said it and got it into my head it just sounds good. I realized today that I have been in school for 19 year straight! 19! no wonder i am burnt out

do whatever makes you happy. We'll be okay. We may be broke for a few more years, but if you're not miserable in the mean time, I'm okay with impoverishment. I'm glad you're getting your head around all of it and making plans. Once you're in plan mode, you're frighteningly unstoppable. Seriously, it terrifies me.

whoooaaa, good luck on your new life adventure! can i just say that i had a bit of a pull when you said next five years though? i'm not sure if charting this out and creating a syllabus is really a good idea. i know it's what you want to do, but do you really need to? i guess what i'm trying to advise is being flexible in trying to figure out what you want to do with the career/life-idge. does that make sense at all?
regardless, i'm happy for you! i think it's one of the best decisions you've made. good luck!
