Yesterday was great (well...except for the Netherlands getting kicked out of the European Championship, that is). It was a lovely evening.

First we had to listen to four very boring speeches, which took almost an hour. After that, we got divided in several groups and had to go to the 'studiezalen', which are a sort of classrooms in which you have to work on your own. Sorry, can't describe it better than this.

Doesn't it look nice?

At first, mister van Wijngaarden (my maths teacher) was about to speak. There were six boys who had chosen him to be their personal tutor, and he said something about them and their schoolcareers. It was kind of boring, because...well, that teacher just is boring.

Yes, what you see is right: there were some boys dressed in a suit!

Then, it was our turn. Eva, Nanda and me had chosen Ben Vriesema, history teacher, as our tutor.

I'm the girl on the right with the white blouse.

We all listened very carefully to what he was telling to us. Ben is a nice man with lots of humour, and we've had a lot of fun...

Mr. van Wijngaarden also thinks Ben is a great story-teller...

Especially when he quotes Eva. In our very first lesson at this school, we had to fill in a form, and one of the questions we had to answer was: "Why did you choose this school?" Her answer was: "Because I want to learn French kissing."

And after all the talking, we finally got our certificate...

First you have to sign it...

...and then you'll be congratulated by your teachers (in this case mr. Marees, who teaches physics)...

...and ofcourse by your tutor.

And then you're done!

We all got a red rose, a picture with all the 92 people of the VWO on it, a yearbook, a pen with the name of our school, and ofcourse the certificate.

And here it is!

The proof that I'm graduated...

Sorry for the crappy pictures, by the way. My mum took them and she's not that good with my camera...

Well, I'm off to gather my things for my trip to Italy. Hope to be online this evening, but I'm not sure though... so if I'm not getting a chance to speak to you again, see you on Monday the 12th!
