Well Leslie and I went home today. The whole thing is a little surreal. The Island looks like its winter with all the dead trees and such. Its not as bad as I thought it would be. Well its Day 3 in Dallas. I have had 2 fairs a day every day. Its been repeating the same thing over and over again, "Yes we still have a school, we will be in College Station for the semester and then back to Galveston Next spring." So even though we are a good 70 miles north of the coast we still got a pretty good part of the storm. My mom and dads roof is leaking and all our trees are down, which isnt saying much-they are only 1 or 2 in in diameter. A tree missed my brothers car, which use to be my impala, by inches. Ok so I had my 2nd interview today for that job i applied for in admissions. I think i did pretty well. I will find out by Friday if i got it.. .im a little nervous. If i dont get this on its back to square one. So keep your fingers crossed!
