My favorite character in Jang Geum because she is a smart woman who never gives up despite the difficulties she faced. Plus Lee young-ae is hot.

My favourite character is Lady Han! She gives off a feeling of unconditional love for Jang Geum and she's noble, brave and has her heart in the right place. Brilliant, inspiring woman ^_^

I'm half in love with her when I was watching the drama. XD Couldn't bear to watch the episode where she dies.. so I skipped it. I did watch it in the end though. ^^;

For me, I would like to see it this way. Each character in the Jewel in the Palace represents a part of us. There are times when we are Jang Geums for some people and we can even be a queen, a queen's mother or an indecisive king or even a wicked Lady Choi to others who we despise. For me, I like JITP as a whole because it serves as a mirror of our society and ourselves. It shows and displays the reality that man by nature is a social animal.
