Same here except for the SUVs, but maybe that's because I don't come into contact with much SUVs.

Almost everyone I know who has bought a camera got a Canon.

Mostly contact with SUVs come on the way home in 3 hour traffic, so there's plenty of experiences of annoyance to choose from, really. :|

Most dealers tell me to get a Canon, although serious photo enthusiasts of the older-generation tell me to get a more conservative (pricier) nikon. -_- I do agree that image qual with a Nikon is way better even with bundled lenses, but Canon they say is technically more advanaced....man I'm so undecided its not even funny. Lol.

PS, where are you working now, again? If you don't mind my asking and my constant state of forgetfulness. :|

I guess it would depend on what are you going to use it for. Myself, I would hate to have a camera that everyone else already has. If I was into photography, I'd get an old-fashioned manual camera, with a weight that won't unsteady my wrist, and settings that one needs algebra for. But then that's me. :P

I'm currently resigning from the hentai gig to concentrate on teaching at the Nihongo center more. Tues/Thurs I'm at the Manila branch, the rest of the week I'm in Makati. Hope to run into you in the mrt someday. Did you go to that Silent Film Festival thing? Most of my co-workers went but I had to pass.

Sounds like my dad's old manual nikon SLR. :D I tried my hand at it, but after five minutes my arms were starting to hurt. *grin* (But I sooo get you on that i'd hate to have a camera that everyone has, too.)

I never did to go, funny that the Goethe Institute is now 5 minutes away from the office by foot. I just asked because I remembered you speak Japanese, and hmm I know a lot of people looking for Japanese speakers right now...interested?

Being in line story: My short friend felt really bad one time. She was in line and the massive foreign woman standing in front of her turned around and hit my friend's forehead...with her elbow.

People should give you your personal space in lines. Violence could occur.

I had a dream about you but it wasn't very clear.

OUCH. -_- I dont even like it when people brush me with their bags and/or other body parts (i.e. hair. talk about yick and 'oh=i'dlovetotakescissorstoyourightnow' kind of feeling....?)

I mean think about it,. You're tired, hot, suffering from a loss of fresh air because it's so damned stuffy at the MRT station, and the last thing you really want is for someone's bag/phone/arm/leg to constantly jab you everytime you move a millimeter, not to mention being close enough to smell someone's smelly sweatodor. -_- So, yeah, I do get rather cranky on the way home. :p

Er....like what kind of a dream. :O

It had combat boots in there and Gonzaga Hall, I think, but I don't remember much else.
