Snow Days!

SO its pretty much been snowing non-stop since 3am yesterday morning. We now have about 3 feet of snow on the ground and police have been warning people to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. My sister couldn't even get out of her driveway this morning to go to work

Awww, snow! I want snow - we Brits hardly ever get it, maybe one day a year, usually early February, we get about half an hour's snow and we get total gridlock because no one knows what to do with it or how to drive in it. I have this fantasy of getting proper fluffy snow on Christmas eve, and curling up by the fire with a book and a drink....*sigh*
