Hell Week Part I is about to begin. All of the science professors here at school seem to have conspired to have all of their tests in the same week. I suppose it's a natural consequence of them teaching their material in the same amount of time, but it's still a pain in the ass when it comes time to study for three tests in the course of two days

Oh please, man. You call that an anatomy acronym? ;)

Mnemonics are definitely the single biggest key to doing well in anatomy, though. A couple of my favorites:

Branches of the external carotid artery:
Some Anatomists Like F***ing, Others Prefer S&M

(superior thyroid, ascending pharyngeal, lingual, facial, occipital, posterior auricular, superficial temporal, maxillary)

Modalities of the cranial nerves:
Some Say Marry Money, But My Brother Says Big Boobs Matter More
(sensory, sensory, motor, motor, both, motor, both, sensory, both, both, motor, motor)

Names of the cranial nerves:
Oh, Oh, Oh, to touch And Feel Virgin Girls' Vagina And Hymen
(olfactory, optic, oculomotor, trochlear, trigeminal, abducens, facial, vestibulocochlear, glossopharyngeal, vagus, accessory, hypoglossal)

Wait till you get to dental school, I'll learn you some memory aids that will make your hair curl. :P
