So 24/7 quiet hours are in effect, and I think this is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I like noise. I am stirr-crazy when it is quiet. So, thanks to Kat I am now addicted to Pandora.com and have had amazing christmas songs playing for days. Last night was the tree lighting ceremony and they had hot chocolate and cider with cookies for us in O'Neill plaza and they had holiday crafts that we could do as well, and everybody made a holiday decoration for an elderly person in the city ( Read more... )

I am beginning to think that Thanksgiving is given to students as a break just to tease them. Ok, so I had an amazing time on my retreat and really got meet some cool people. It was the first retreat I have ever been on where guys outnumbered girls. I was in a group with 5 guys. I just spent 2 hours reading outside and basking in the sun...it was lovely. I love the feeling of the warm sun on your skin and the light breeze messing with your hair, all the while reading a very thought provoking book!
