Oh dear, Pinochet is dead. No doubt millions will weep.

So what are the odds that he will swiftly be followed by his slightly less despotic very good friend Thatcher? I don't suppose that it matters too much really, as long as she keeps quiet.

Sorry to hear you died, Pinochet, I wish I'd heard it earlier.

As for Thatcher, I'm coming to the conclusions she will never die, but go on and on and on. She's not for turning.

I sometimes think the Conservatives keep her in cryogenic storage, like Judge Dredd in the final 'Red Razors' story arc...one day they'll need 'Tory Omega' again...

...on the other hand, with the death of La Pinochet, it seems Thatcher's Bridge Club has lost another member...and we know what a dwindling social circle can do to these elderly shut-ins...

Time to buy the champagne now, I'll wager!
