In the past few days I have acquired a couple of pet gerbils. Apparently the internet likes to hear about things like gerbils, a fact that comes second only to "The fact that two-thirds of it consists of pornography" in the list of Things That Are Wrong With The Internet. Petrie is an excellent name for a gerbil, and the real Petrie's legacy is very much still felt at UCL these days.
