kerry went to war and earned three purple hearts for battle wounds and two bronze stars for bravery in a war he publicly denounced. i guess since he didn't believe in the war he fought in and said so afterwards, that makes him unamerican. wow how unpatriotic. the man should be executed ( Read more... )

To be honest with you...at first John Kerry was definatly going to get my vote. But after seeing his past dozen or so rallys, I'm not so sure about him. He seems to get caught in a lot of lies. All politicians lie, but Kerry just isn't very good at it. I'm not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

This just blew my mind.

John Kerry at a gas conservation rally: "I don't nor will I ever own an SUV" After the rally he hopped into his Chevy Suburban, which was caught on camera.

John Kerry at a later time : "I own a Chevy Suburban"

John Kerry when asked about the two conflicting quotes: "My wife owns a Chevy Suburban, not me"

I don't know...this isn't the only thing either, just one example. I'm also not so sure about him going to the protest where the soldiers threw their medals over a fence in protest, and Kerry only pretended to throw his.

I'm not saying Bush is any better, but I seriously need to re-evaluate my vote now...I'm not so sure Kerry is the shoe-in I once thought he was.

Its better to lie about what car you drive instead of lying about a war and killing thousands in the process. Thats why bush must go. Don't even make me have to explain my reassoning b/c it is right!

Bush has never lied about the war. Its common knowledge that we are losing people over there, because guess what....ITS A WAR. Hundreds of people have died not thousands. Maybe 1 thousand, but no more. Those people are also over there because they chose to be. There was no draft, this is something those people signed up for and to them it is an honor to fight and possibly die for their country. I know this because I have numerous military personel in my family and many military friends. The point of my post was to state that Kerry seems to bounce back and forth between the issues and I'm not sure that I like that. If he's talking to a bunch of people that support abortion than he's all for it. If he's talking to people that hate it he hates it. All the while forgetting that he's on national TV getting picked apart because everyone knows that he's lying. The "car he drove" statement was just used as an example. I notice you didn't have anything to say about his medal deal. There are more things but I don't have the time to ( ... )

We could go on for days discussing this, and I understand what you are talking about.
I will just say this, maybe I like him because he is a state-based uncommitted person. Meaning, he dosen't really care about small issues, like what care he drive or what he did or didn't do to medels. The Main thing he wants to get across is that he is against this war, and so am I... and I do look in the gray, and there is no gray in bush when it comes to the war, b/c "You're either with me or unamerican."

Eric honestly I won't pretend to know what I am talking about because I definitely fall under the category of not reading the news papers thus having no clue but Bush sucks ass, but I will vote him in rather then have Kerry. The only thing that pisses me off is his continual bshing of the current administration when the only way he can get a vote is to make up lies when he is really just a cock face anyways

If you don't know don't vote. Not trying to sound like an ass, but I HATE when people vote that are misinformed, becasue there stupid uninteelgent vote is canceling out my intellegent vote.
I'm not even syaing don't vote Bush, just have a valid educated reasson for voting for him (which you can back up), not just b/c repbulican blood runs in your family( much like mine).

Maybe our gas prices wouldn't be so high if it weren't for kerry. Screw him and his no drilling in Alaska.

How about this idea, we take all the oil out of the middle east (which one day we will) and then make other countries pay to take it out of the U.S. in 2020.

Or how about a smarter solution, like a hybrid car.

If you'd like to buy me one, im up for it. But for now I'll continue to buy gas for 1.90/gallon.

These prices are almost the same amount as L.A.

oil in alaska would not last long enough to sustain america for any historic amount of time, and b, hey why not just step all over environmental laws in the name of corporate progress while completely and totally ignoring the prospect of hydrogen cars or someother non-petroleum dependent vehicle, which could pull humanity out of its fatal oil addiction and restore some sense of civility in the world.
