World Cup on telly: this Saturday, 12:45, BBC 1: USA vs England.

1: England are through to the quarter-finals of the Women's World Cup and are all set to face the USA. This is likely to be a very entertaining game.

2: I crave sugared doughnuts.

3: Maths is hard.

A little while ago I bought an A4 Intuos 2 tablet from EdwardS as I'd always fancied a go on a tablet. I did a 45-minute practice session, and then on Thursday I launched into a 3-hour marathon picture-tracing session to make a birthday card for lis0r. Here's the result:

So we were at the cinema last weekend, and we seemed to be able to buy 20 quid of snacks and drinks between us. Among the snacks was the huge box of popcorn. And on the box, to illustrate the natural goodness of the maize whose kernels get popped to make the popcorn, we get... fields of wheat, pictured wafting majestically in the breeze ( Read more... )

There's a spider in my bedroom, halfway up the front of the wardrobe, just stopped there. Maybe it's confused. Maybe it's just resting.
