Is David Chase a genius?

I would've liked to think so, but I'm really uncomfortable calling the conclusion the The Sopranos a brilliant ending. Everyone has all these neat little theories about what the audience is seeing, but I feel like it detracts from the dramatic feel of the greater series. I'm not in a college artistic film class, there's a limit to how far symbolism
