Well, it all happened. I'm sitting here in my apartment, I've been here for a little less than two weeks now but let me tell you; I'm in heaven. I'm unemployed, I've got a strong wireless connection, and school doesn't start until late August. I've got enough money to last me a good six months, but I'm still going to be doing a little work on

I really got into Deus Ex for a time and then I just... I just didn't. That happens to me with FPSs, though. I put it down for a day and just forget about it all.

Have you played System Shock 2? Same guy, earlier work, much better paced. I can't reccomend that one enough, especially if you cheat to remove respawn points. Adds a great deal more tension and removes all the frustration of getting jumped on by a guy coming from a room that you just cleared. Call bullshit on that.

Oh, I was interested in both of them but I decided I would go with Deus Ex first. I don't know, I love the writing and the story is pretty awesome, but I've got a feeling I'm seeing right through it.

Yes, System Shock 2 is next on my list.
