RULES AND REGULATIONS

Aug 03, 2008 14:34

1. Prompts shall be posted biweekly unless otherwise dictated by a daemon_mod post. You can answer as many prompts as you feel capable of doing.

2. There will be activity checks Monthly. You must post at least twice a month (answering one prompt per prompt post) in order to be considered active. At the end of the month, inactive puppets will be deleted from the community. You will be allowed to re-apply after two weeks.
3. We all have lives and we’re all extremely busy (your mods included). If you are unable to answer one prompt out of each post or need to take a hiatus request one from the hiatus post. In order to be considered active again just start replying to prompts.

4. Daemons are unique to their humans, consequently there will only be one of each character allowed. There can’t be two doctor houses or two Claire Bennets. OCs are accepted, Real-Person Fiction is not.

5. You may have as many characters as you’d like, but you must apply for them. The mods understand the allure of new puppets. If you are unable to write for a muse and his or her daemon please notify us via the intercision post.

6. Prompts can include anything from journal responses to art to roleplaying; the only caveat is that they must include your puppet’s daemon in some way.

7. The Mods stand by the list of unapplicable muses from fandoms where authors do not want their work reproduced by people in the form of Fanfiction. Characters from the following fandoms cannot be apped.

8. The mods of this community will not intercede if there is a problem between members. This is a place of fun and above all fiction. Keep the Out of Character Line and the In Character line very distinct. Remember, above all these are supposed to be pretendy-funtime-games.

9. Take the words of the Hippocratic oath to heart. “First do no Harm.” Allow a month for spoilers for any book or movie, put warnings above posts that contain adult content. We don’t want to have to make this community 17 and older but we will if we have to.

10. Your application asks you to put a phrase into your application post to insure that you have read these rules and will abide by them. This phrase is, “But Martha, the Toaster is on fire.”

Any questions will be answered in a prompt and timely manner by the mods of this community and ultimately added to the FAQ in the community. Please respond to this post with your questions. Have fun! That’s what this is all about!
