I sympathise. I keep getting telemarketing calls that don't even have a person on the other end, it's a flipping recording!

We got those at work last year - from the States!

Do sign up for Telephone Preference Service though, if you haven't already done so. If you get a real person and you say you've signed up for TPS, they disappear pretty quickly (sometimes with an apology too!).
