But you would be surprised at how many people I actually try to have a political discussion with accuse me of having done so when they find out I'm a republican or even slightly agree with Bush or the war.
I said "why I'm not a lefty". I find that mostly honest, peaceful people are more central leaning. Much more like where I am. I'm actually left of center due to my non-association with religion. I could (and perhaps should) make a post explaining why I'm not a righty either because I feel that the extremes of both are part of what's wrong with both this country and humanity. I blame them for us not getting anywhere anymore.
I'm a Republican because I see far less reprehensible things coming from that side of the fence, and a much better grip on harsh reality. I'm tired of seeing the race-card played for political gain. I'm tired of partisan blame game just to get "back into power". I'm tired of one sided blaming instead of announcing there is a problem within CONGRESS ITSELF and working to root out the problems on both sides of the political spectrum.
