Don't be ashamed. Every so often a conversations brings back the longing and I find myself pondering the logistics of a comeback.

A talk last night with Scud made me suddenly yearn to go the Gio event in Vegas, despite the fact that it would be financially irresponsible of me.

Sadly, the best roleplaying I've done in the past five years has been entirely within the confines of tabletop.

I know exactly the game you are talking about - it was a Christmastime game.

My favorite games were always the C-U games. I met some great people, did some fun stuff, never lacked in plot or character development, and was always guaranteed a good time.

You are an inspiration. Finnally a veteran who is actually willing to try and save ashes as opposed to either a) watching it die and bitching, b) helping it die by being as neurotic as possible or c) not caring at all whether this game succeeds or fails. *applause* I would love to see ashes become something on par with Owbn in it's glory days, mostly because I was only 9 years-old in 1997 and couldn't see it then. I love Larping and I love the crew I game with. I am seeing people start giving up on the integrity of the game and it saddens me. I would love to help springfield ashes and will do whatever is necessary to help fix it and make it a game we can all be proud to play in. You rock my socks.

Thanks for being an optimistic larper!!!!1
