I watched some of the first Survivor just because it was a rather cool concept. I haven't watched any reality TV since because it isn't reality.

Yeah... I guess he doesn't realize that if someone else pays his taxes that it counts as income and is itself taxable.

If I won a million, I'd make sure all my ducks were in a row with the IRS that's for sure! 13 years is a hell of a long time to spend in jail for a paltry $300k in taxes.

Oh yes. And *especially* if you earned that money in a very public manner because you know that someone in the IRS watched you win that money and is like, "dude better pay his taxes cause I'm watching."

Plus, whenever you win anything they always tell you that you are responsible for your own taxes. It's in the forms and such you sign before you get the prize.
