This summer we feature

Ancient Rome

&

Hmmmmm.... depends on the professor and my arguements, I mean if I argue that the rise of troubadors from the Aquitainian area is similar to the British Invasion of Rock 'n Roll then I might get in trouble... Or maybe not... *hurries off to check this idea*

BTW has anyone ever had a professor who refused to let you use outside sources for any of his papers? I encountered that this past semester and thought it strange... but then perhaps thats a common practice.

Yeah... only the assigned texts and readings for supporting documentation... now there was a lot so it was possible... but It made things somewhat difficult.

About the only restriction I ever had was that I used "scholarly" sources instead of popular media (like newspaper articles and various mostly trustworthy websites).
