Also, has joni gotten himself a credit card yet? That's one HUGE boost toward getting himself some credit. Use it once a month, pay it off in full every month, and keep it open.

Length of the account held, timely payments, and low to no balance while being in use are all big factors.

First, Joni should be building credit wherever he can. Open a credit card, just one, use it everyday, and pay it off every month. Keep the balance slow. That's how Joni build his credit the quickest and easiest way.

As for how I bought my house, personally I got lucky. I have family that I was able to finance the loan through. It is in fact a full on mortgage, & I pay my mortgage every month, but its too family members instead of a bank. I got lucky.

However, that doesn't mean you guys can't have a house of your own. If you apply together, they can give you your credit rating and the credit rating they would base you alone off of, and then if you go through loan simple the company that I work for, they can send you off for free for credit for repair, where the guy will looks at it and tell you exactly what you need to do to get both of your credits up at where it needs to be.

Yours obviously doesn't need help, but he can tell Joni exactly what he needs to do to get his credit where it needs to be quickly.

As for you having no income, ( ... )

You do have some readers, I'm not on here a lot but I did miss hearing from you.

My house is currently a disaster as well and I have been procrastinating soo much to clean it.
