I'm a bad fangirl. I didn't notice much being taken out. I wish they'd left in the "she's like a sister to me" line, but other than that...

That was one of the two that I really missed. The second was I would have liked to have seen the scene in which Hermione was sorting the books.

There really wasn't much taken out. It's just a bad habit of mine when I see a movie after reading the book - I always notice at least a couple scenes I would have liked to have seen that aren't there. OTOH, I loved the way the movie did the story of the three brothers.

I found it way more enjoyable than the actual 7th novel. *koff* It seemed better paced.

I think you're probably right about the pacing. But I have to admit that's not something I generally notice about a book probably because I rarely read them in a single sitting anymore. Sigh. When I was younger and could pull all-nighters ...
