Little known fact: the University of Iowa Library has one of the largest collections of fanzines.

I didn't know this until Sydney launched herself at me when I was visiting the bookshop last week. She works in special collections and told me there were thousands of Kirk/Spock fanzines from the ( Read more... )

Reviews and betas can do wonders if they're actually giving constructive feedback; the majority of beta/reviewing I see in fandom is "omg this was so good you should write more!" which is flattering but unhelpful.

In retrospect, I was definitely not ready for that jelly. Though I can't say I wasn't warned, particularly by the title of your post.

DID THEY HAVE ANY 90S 'ZINES IN THE COLLECTION AND IF SO, DID YOU HAPPEN UPON ANY X-FILES FANZINES BECAUSE INQUIRING MINDS REALLY REALLY NEED TO KNOW.
