Do you have any vids and books on knitting you'd recommend for a newbie? I want to get a few new hobbies to do while watching TV. :)

Almost any knitting or crochet pattern book you find on the shelf will have basic instructions with pictures. I was mostly self-taught by vintage knitting books and The Internet. I think this collection of tutorials can be a good starter. There are tons of YouTube videos, too!

Its lovely! I'm so bad at these patterns you have to make and then join together so I'm in awe! So awesome!

This one you can actually join as you go! The chain-1 stitches go into the joining motifs. :D
