Fougeres is the most amazing place I've ever been to: the castle is amazing because it actually gives you an idea of the scale of wall thickness and how it all used to be (proper city walls and all that). It's the only castle I've ever been to that I could understand how people lived and everything. I also managed to get in as being under 12 when I was 18 :D
