When explaining my fears of leaving Boston and bursting into tears, Sarah says, "No, it won't happen like that. You'll drive across country and be so excited by everything you see, and then you'll get to Portland and be so busy with everything new in Portland. Jill! Your entries are always so lovely and well-written, just like your pieces I'd read in Hoffman's classes.

I miss those days and I miss college. I'm still in my "what do I do now" funk. Hopefully we'll both find our ways soon.

You know what sucks though? If you were to go back rightnow, to Boston, you'd start to miss Portland eventually.

I think that anywhere we spend any sort of time, we leave a piece of ourselves there. And then it kinda hurts to leave that piece behind.
