You have bed bugs and you didn't have to get new furnitures? I've heard tons of cases out here of having to get rid of pretty much everything.

I caught them early, they came from somewhere else. As far as I could tell they weren't in the mattress, and as my itchy welts are receding on schedule, I can only assume that my method of treatment worked.

Which involved getting a prescription lotion, covering myself with it for 12 hours and then washing it off, and washing everything that ever touched my bed or body with hot water. It was a FUN WEEKEND.

If you kill someone, do try to make it look unintentional. The last thing you need is to get arrested over a justifiable homocide. As to the plan, you may need to stiffen the backs of your roommates in order to have fair backup on harassing the landlord into fixing the pipes.

Other than that, I can say nothing useful, except my best wishes that it all quietly goes away.
