and i mean, i understand why they would want to release that particular show, but with the bootleg all over the place already, why not go all the way with a DVD?
they did announce a DVD of the LA show, but rumor has it that they nixed the idea in the middle of the set for some reason, and no further DVD plans have been announced.
a DVD is what i really want.
but i'm looking forward to the video on the single at least.

besides it's practically all the same set, which itself is only marginally changed from the coachella set. you're hearing the same thing whether it's bercy or the upcoming vegas show.

anyway, Bercy had some significant tweakage, i think. there's a handful of small parts that i don't remember at Keyspan, but i haven't really had a chance to listen to the LA bootleg at much depth yet for comparison either. then again, such discrepancies are how both ALIVE tours have been, it seems that this year's has a higher occurrence, though.
and i mean, i'm happy for a CD and especially this soon, but i'd much prefer a longer wait if it meant a DVD.
