So apparently my right eye turning bright red overnight is, as it turns out, nothing to actually be concerned about. According to the ophthalmologist I went to today (after going to a general drop-in clinic who immediately disclaimed that they actually had nobody who knew anything about eyeballs on site so I had best go to the eye clinic which was

I mean, one of the texts, at an already-pretty-small text size, involved talk of “elves living in the Niebelheim”, which I would expect anyone who wasn’t a complete nerd like me to stumble over

Very likely it was deliberate, so people will not be able to derive everything from context even if they only can see part of the text.

It happened that I had an eye exam yesterday (getting new glasses), but tests for those purposes don't include reading chunks of text.
