1. For every soda or sugary drink I have, I will then consume the same amount in water.
2. No candy (I am only keeping soda to keep me from killing ppl.) I will instead snack on sunflower seeds, fruits, and vegetables for energy.
1. if you consume soda at all, double the amount in water, as soda removes water from your system, and the extra water will help flush out the extra sugars that you insist on drinking.
2. a small ( READ SMALL ) bit of candy now and then isn't going to upset any kind of diet you're attempting to do. But again.. SMALL, don't ransack a king size snickers and then wonder what went wrong.
side note : don't look down on weight training, a bit of circuit training with dumbbells can kick your ass just as much as a 2 mile run. :)

And remind me to show you where that Asian market is, if you haven't been there. I saw big bags of sunflower seeds and thought of you.
