I hope this makes things... better. I'm sick of things getting worse.

Ok, I have to say something about livejournal. I think that this type of medium (blogging) can be used to gossip about people and write down insanely fucked up things about one's friends. Basically it can be used to hurt people. I don't think I want my LJ to hurt people, and I feel that my political posts end up doing that. Well, this is not my ( Read more... )

Sounds like you had such a good time at the Cheesecake Factory. I absolutely love their chocolate mousse cheesecake...mmmmm so good.

And as for your political posts--you have the right to express your opinion because this is America after all. People do have the right to agree or disagree with you and as long as you respect their views and do not push yours upon them then everything is fine and dandy.

Out of curiosity were you referring to Cait and I with the "offend people who can't handle the sensitive subject of politics" comment?

Ya, it's my passive-aggressive way of saying, "SORRY!". Don't think I was saying you can't handle the sensitive subject of politics, though. I think that part came out soooo wrong. I just don't want it to be this huge dividing thing between us, and I feel that it is dividing us. I don't care that you endorse Bush. I mean, I do... but tough, right? I think I just took it a little more personally than I should've. I think I look at politics as way more, "life & death," than it actually is. The reason I said my posts offend people (namely, you, Caitlin, and my friend Dow possibly) is because I noticed a huge increase in the references to politics after my posts. I don't want this sort of tete-a-tete (I don't even know if that's the right expression, or the right spelling for that matter.) that I see going on, and if I am noticing something that isn't there, then that's cool, there is no issue. I'd rather not talk about politics with you guys because ultimately, we disagree. I can continue to argue with you until I'm blue in the face, but ( ... )

I'm glad you realized...cause if you hadn't I think the divide would have multiplied. It is completely annoying that you feel it is ok to express your opinions, but wrong for us to express ours. I would NEVER talk about politics with you, because I really don't feel like being attacked. I donno if it is that you are gay that you are so offended, because Sam and me and Jackie have such different views and it hasn't affected us AT ALL. It's sad that you have to get so tense and offended, and act like you are the only one with strong opinions. Its not that we are mad, its that our guards are up...because of you...Mine personally for the second or third time here. I figure we should put an end to this, and not talk about it anymore. It seems you think we dont know what we are talking about, and that we have no respect for gay people which is the most insulting thing u could say to me. I thought you knew us better than that, and if not...

Thanks for bringing vulgarity back to LJ. It's been too long...

PS: and yes, glamor can be spelled either way, but the "u" makes it SOOO much more pretentious, don't you think?

PPS: Ok, we need to talk about your ass sex Monday!!! Either respond herre or we'll talk on aim. :-D
