Schedule had me coming in at 9:30AM.
It was nice to have more sleep. When I arrived at the station I was told I was to check in at the Seattle Annex (next door). No called so I had no idea. It was close to clock in time so I hung out there to clock in; I was on time and if I walked over to the Annex I would have clocked in late.
They had me on Route 2 which I found out bridges SU and Capitol Hill. Mix of houses, apartments and businesses. When you don't know the route and the DPS is messed up... it makes it difficult to figure the flow.
You might think that getting to do apartment building might provide a break from the heat. I found there is limited air flow, if any, and can get really hot. And dark! I understand... most people don't spend much time there but letter carriers do... okay when they are small set but a large complex can take quite a bit of time.
Before heading to the annex I made sure I knew my schedule the next couple of days. 7:30am Saturday and Monday but received a call to come in at 8:30am tomorrow. Odd but what are you going to do?!? I made the mistake of reading a really negative review of being a CSA this morning. It makes me wonder what in the world am I thinking?!?
