I love the killer plants picture, and the last one, with those nice geometric waves.

To my surprise, I found the translation of Queller in my dictionary, (hadn't looked before because I thought it too specialized.) It's called glasswort in English. The direct translation of the meaning of Queller however would be 'sweller'. You might say it's swollen by saltwater. It's a decidedly non-killing plant and tastes well with tomatoes.

I like the last picture too. I could imagine a textile design based on it, for a Teleri gown maybe.

Wattenmeer! Da werden Erinnerungen an Erdkunde 12. Klasse wach... ;) Aber die Bilder sind wirklich sehr schön geworden.

Ich hatte das nie in Erdkunde... irgendwann ging es bei uns nur noch um Weltwirtschaft.
Aber dafür haben wir jedesmal eine dieser 'Wir ärgern den Wattwurm' Führungen mitgemacht, wenn wir in den Ferien an der Nordsee waren. Diesmal auch. Ist immer wieder schön. Ich mag den Geruch, und natürlich den Schlick an den Füßen, außer man versinkt zu tief darin.
