When you have some time will you please stop by and do a sketch of my horse? Thanks.

Awesome skull! I would love to see the horse skull, but I imagine that would be hard to get on your scanner.

The Horse and Hunt fair sounds like fun.

I'd love to! :-)

The Horse fair is fun. Beside endless boots with each and everything around horses it has a very good show program. In fact, several ones. Big name horse trainers hold clinics in various riding styles and so on.

Excellent sketches. The dog's paws are perfect.

Thanks! :-)
I wish I'd had a little more time to do more sketches of this whippet, but the fair was closing. I love drawing greyhounds, there's nothing better for learning learning dog anatomy, all the details are so clearly visible. And besides, they look so awesome elegant no matter what they do.

Oh my, you are so good at drawing animals! Those sketches are great.
I can't say that I am fascinated with sculls, but this one looks pretty neat!:)

For me, skeleton and skull are the basic of animal or human shape and I try to keep the bone structure in mind when I draw or sculpt. Having a real skull or a good scale model of a skeleton is great for referencem, but I find them also fascinating all by themselves. It's probably my inner Neandertaler.

The Andalusian is lovely, and so is the dog. :) And, again, I am absolutely in awe of your skills as an artist.

Perhaps you could post a photo of your whole skull collection at some time? It sounds very interesting!

Really like the whippet studies. You've managed to catch that quality of bonelessness dogs have when they're completely relaxed.

The whippet shared her basket with a black pug. They looked so cute and exravagant together, that all the time, people stopped and wondered 'are they real?'.
