I've got a lot of travel coming up and that makes me very happy. I go to Florida tomorrow to get my geek on at a theology conference. Best part of that- I've splurged and I'm taking a sleeper car down and back. 22 hours of blissful solitude each way. I don't want to be a whiner or act like my lot in life is particularly difficult because it's not,

I went to a Presbyterian school for a year and they didn't seem nearly as cool as you make them seem. Teenager pregnant? Kick her out. Don't forget how women are not equal to men and really should be quiet and sit in the back of the church, technically speaking.

There are a bunch of Presbyterian denominations. In the US alone, I think there are something like 8 and there are many more abroad. They range from so liberal that a gay, poly furry could be an ordained pastor to conservative enough to make a fundamentalist Muslim comfortable. We're somewhere in the middle, maybe leaning a bit to the conservative side although we do ordain women. But most importantly, we try not to be jerks about it.
